Come and support our local penguin sanctuary, an initiative created by local school pupils to provide a safe nesting area for our local penguins.

Just a 10 minute walk along the road to the river mouth you will find free penguin viewing on the south bank, just past the playground area.

The best time to see the penguins is around dusk as they come ashore.

Funds are currently being raised to erect lighting in this area, as penguins are easily dazed by flashlights so we would appreciate your donations to assist with this cause.

Donations can be placed in the donation box at the camping ground, in the enclosed barbeque area.
